This is one of the more resent commercials from AT&T. This commercial is all about the entertainment but still informing the audience what they can do for them. The white man will ask the basketball players a question regarding the cell phone service to get a comical response to relate to audience. The endorsement claim is used by having four professional basketball athletes involved. its also interesting that the background even reflects the fact that there basketball players with a basketball hoop hanging on the door and the wall saying "everyone's a winner".
The kids in this commercial hilarious. just as the previous commercial, AT&T used the comical aspect to address what they can provide, lets face it, kids are adorable and its hard not to watch when there acting so cute. What the kids are illustrating is if you have AT&T you will have all this money left over that you can spend on other things. Also, there slogan is saving is better, which is a so what claim because that is obvious.
Olympic Commercial- 2010 This commercial uses an event that is relate able to the audience to draw attention in. It has two young white girls and one black boy showing that AT&T is for everyone. Also expressing humor when the girl out of the water says "back in 2008 we didn't have these special TV's...etc just comical in the way that shes so young and dishing out the facts like a know it all to cell a wireless receiver.
This commercial is from the early 2000's and it is very different from the newer ones. firstly it doesn't have AT&Ts jingle at the end and the logo has been changed since then. This commercial gives a positive feel from the company about what could happen if you go with them. emphasizes that with motivational music with an upbeat tempo. The hidden message inside this commercial is that the future has nothing on you with AT&T and love and good fortune will come your way in the process.
The enforcement claim is used the whole time in this commercial with the thinking if theirs someone the audience knows there will be more of a chance the audience tunes in. The yellow theme wasn't created back when this was published and it was interesting they were advertizing for there customer service line and not an actual product. Also relating to the audience by having there customer service line being double 0. "its the only number you need to know" she says. As if AT&T is the only number you would dial ever again. definitely addresses hummer when shes destroying her phone to get her point across.
